HARMANKAYA CANYON CROSSING

     Harmankaya Canyon; Bilecik province is one of the well-known and important canyons of our country, located within the borders of Yenipazar and Inhisar Districts. The entrance of the canyon is approximately 8 kilometers from the town of Yenipazar and 1.5 kilometers from the nearest village of Karahasanlar. The canyon exit is; It is within the borders of Harmanköy of İnhisar district.

     The Kanyon region was declared a national park in 2013 and taken under protection. There are facilities built by the Bilecik National Parks Branch at the entrance and exit of the canyon.

      The length of Harmankaya Canyon is 2636 meters. There is an altitude difference of -138 meters between the entrance and exit of the canyon.

There are two long and three short rope descents, one 21 and one 17 meters, in the canyon. There are also obstacles that require time-to-time jumping.

     Our camp; On Saturday, July 21, we set up the campsite at the entrance of the Canyon. After setting up the camp, we will have basic rope techniques, climbing, rope descent training and a short walk.

Our canyon crossing will take about 5-6 hours. After leaving the canyon, we return to the campsite with a vehicle to be provided by the BIG BEAR, with a journey that will take approximately 30 minutes.

  1. Pants

  6. Spare socks

  7. Sports Shoes and spare shoes (It is recommended to have a hard toe and hard sole to be worn in the canyon.)

NOTE 1: All participants will be covered by personal accident insurance during the events.

NOTE 2: The application deadline is Thursday, July 19th.

NOTE 3: Participation is limited to 12 people.
