CAVE ADVENTURE CAMP

05-06 AUGUST 2017 / AYVAINI CAVE / BURSA

On Sunday, August 6th, under the guidance of the BIG BEAR, we pass the 6th longest cave in Turkey, the 4,800 meters long Ayvaini Cave.

Ayvaini Cave; It is located in Ayva Village, one of the many charming villages near Uluabat Lake. The second mouth of the cave, which is determined to be the longest underground passage in the Southern Marmara Region, is between Kazanpınar and Doğanalan villages of Mustafakemalpaşa.

Underground waters emerge from the mouth of the cave in Ayva Village, which is hydrologically active. There are 60 ponds that reach 3-4 meters in places inside the cave, and the length of the lagoon at the exit of the cave reaches 400 meters. The water level changes with seasonal effects. The water temperature inside the cave is expected to be around 8-10 degrees.

Ayvaini Cave is a real natural wonder with its wall dripstones, watery dripstone pools and lagoons, and untouched structure covered with extraordinary stalactites and stalagmites.

On Saturday, rope descent and climbing training will be given by TDF Trainer Hüseyin DÖNMEZOĞLU in the chimney area, which is close to the exit area of the cave and opens out from above.

It is not necessary to have a special ability or physical condition to participate in the activity.
