• Our journey will start from the Sakarbaşı location of the Çifteler district of Eskişehir; We predict that 825 kilometers of section from Sakarya to Karasu district, where the Sakarya River empties into the Black Sea, will take 15 days, and the 175-kilometer section from Karasu to Istanbul Caddebostan will take 4 days. The exact duration of our journey will be determined by the Sakarya River and the situation of the participant group.

 

• Adventurers can join the part of our expedition up to Karasu or all of them up to Caddebostan, according to their own preferences.

 

• The canoes we will use in the expedition are two-person (Tandem), balanced, sit-on-top, non-sinkable canoes that do not require previous canoeing experience.

 

•  There are many natural (fallen tree stumps, waterfalls, etc.) and artificial obstacles (weirs, bridges, dams, etc.) along the course. Sometimes there is not enough water in the river bed. In these sections, canoes will be taken out of the water and prepared mobile trailers will be mounted under the canoe and transported on land by canoeists. This will cause an extra experience and power consumption for adventurers.

 

• During the expedition, safety vehicles will follow the canoes. All camping equipment and spare materials belonging to canoeists will be transported by vehicle and brought to the campsite. Canoeists will carry the limited equipment they will use during the day with them.

 

• There will be constant radio communication between the safety vehicles and the canoes. The vehicles will have the necessary first aid and rescue materials. All of our team are experts in first aid and search and rescue.

 

• During the expedition, a personal satellite tracking system will be used and it will be possible to follow the expedition up-to-date over the internet. In addition, the entire expedition will be recorded with cameras from land and canoes.

 

• The expedition will be held with a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 15 participants.
